The G3 EV Assured Report

We’ve created the ‘G3 EV Assured’ report to offer additional trust to our buyers ahead of the auction. EV Assured Reports will be available for all vehicles that qualify including Electric Vehicles and Plug-in Hybrids.

What is G3 EV Assured?

G3 EV Assured is our 35+ point vehicle check to help ‘de-risk’ the buying process specific to EVs and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.

We offer a  ‘G3 EV Assured’ report to offer additional trust to our buyers ahead of an auction. EV Assured Reports will be available for all vehicles that qualify including Electric Vehicles and Plug-In Hybrids. The EV Assured report is reports on additional factors specific to EVs and is offered alongside our Inspection Report at all G3 auction centres.

Our G3 EV Assured product adds a further level of trust to the real condition of the vehicle at that moment in time.  This is especially useful for online buyers who cannot appraise the vehicle themselves.

Terms & Conditions for the G3 Assured Report can be found here

Our NAMA qualified inspectors will perform a static check for common signs of issues and inform buyers with a further inspection report ahead of its first sale at G3.

The G3 EV Assured report is added to eligible vehicles including Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles, and does incur an additional charge for the purchaser.

An example of a G3 EV Assured report

In order to best remarket EVs, we have now introduced a new ‘EV/Hybrid’ section to all of our reports, looking into key features specific to EVs. Our team of highly skilled experts will test 35 elements, covering everything in our normal Assured Report, as well as several fields related directly to EVs. This includes:

  • Charge Port Condition
  • Inverter Coolant Level
  • Drive Ready to Run Indicator
  • Domestic Charger
  • Type 2 Charger

As with a normal Assured report, each of these checks will either pass or fail, letting our buyers understand better what condition the vehicle they are purchasing is in.

If you have a concern with a G3 Assured vehicle or a concern with an item on the report, you can raise it in the MyG3 section of the website (when logged in) and select which vehicle you wish to raise the concern about for our Buyer Services team to investigate.

In 2024, both G3 Castleford and G3 Bedford achieved their EVA Certification recognised as able to accurately and transparently remarket Electric and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles. Read more about our EVA certification:
